Introducing Avery Robert and Rory Dean!

Hillery arrived at the hospital with contractions at 7:00am and had her water broken an hour later. Soon contractions picked up and she received an epidural around 11:00. By 2:00 she was fully dilated and having regular contractions (no pitocin needed!). Around 2:45 Hillery pushed through three contractions and was then relocated to the OR (in case of a c-section). Once in the OR, Hillery pushed through three more contractions and Avery was born (at 3:18pm). She then pushed through three more contractions and Rory joined his brother (at 3:28pm)! We are all doing well can can't wait to go home tomorrow... more to come!

Waiting....and Waiting....
Last week when I went to the doctor I was 80% effaced and 1.5 cm dialated.
When I went to the doctor on Tuesday, I was 90% effaced and 2 cm dialated.
Avery's head is at -1 and is making his way downward so
we're making progress I think...slowly but surely!
Wednesday was my last day of teaching so I'm taking it easy at home.
I've been pretty uncomfortable lately so hopefully the babies will arrive sooner rather than later!
The next doctor's appointment is on Monday so we'll have another update then
unless they decide to make an appearance :)
