Hillery arrived at the hospital with contractions at 7:00am and had her water broken an hour later. Soon contractions picked up and she received an epidural around 11:00. By 2:00 she was fully dilated and having regular contractions (no pitocin needed!). Around 2:45 Hillery pushed through three contractions and was then relocated to the OR (in case of a c-section). Once in the OR, Hillery pushed through three more contractions and Avery was born (at 3:18pm). She then pushed through three more contractions and Rory joined his brother (at 3:28pm)! We are all doing well can can't wait to go home tomorrow... more to come!
Hooray - they are here! Now the FUN really begins! So glad everyone is healthy and Clint didn't pass out! God has truely blessed you with these small bundles and the boys are blessed to have you both for parents. Congratulations and our best to all!

ReplyDeleteHillery, I just wanted to say that I'm very proud of you for being so awesome and so prepared. While I know that the babies mean so much and you'd be happy regardless, being able to go home without a major surgery is awesome too, and you rock! Pushing out twins?! Not very many women do that these days! So feel proud and blessed my dear. Your babies are beautiful and they have great parents. So glad everything went well. Much love!
